Over the years, I've been working on various projects ranging from open-source projects, university assignments and work-related projects. I've done some small fun projects, been a contributor to the KDE project in various ways and worked on some serious applications. Here are some of the highlights...
Hyves Desktop
Apart from other features on the Hyves website (like pokes, the friend quick finder, and Flickr importer), I have developed the Hyves Desktop together with my team of 3 other developers. The Hyves Desktop consists of the Kwekker (a chat program with integrated blog, photo and news viewer), and the Hyves Photo Uploader. The Hyves Desktop is written in C++ using the Qt toolkit, combined with web technologies using an embedded WebKit component, and is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Aukyla Platform
The Aukyla Platform is a platform for building and deploying highly modular PHP5 applications. It covers areas like login and session management, configuration management, package management, plugins and modules, document storage, document viewers and editors, search functionality and building of HTML interfaces.
Aukyla Document Management System
The Aukyla Document Management System (ADMS) is a document management system built upon the Aukyla Platform. It acts as a highly modular online file cabinet where you can store all kinds of documents. ADMS provides the searching and inline viewing and editing of documents and adds feedback mechanisms.
Aukyla SiteManager
Aukyla SiteManager is a content management system built upon ADMS and is a great example of the flexibility and modularity of ADMS. SiteManager is meant to make maintenance of websites as easy as possible. This will allow everyone who has his own website to take care of it and make sure it stays up-to-date. To show off, this website is running on SiteManager as well :)
KDE Remote Desktop Client
As of version 3.1, KDE has a nice Remote Desktop Client (KRDC) which allows it to connect to VNC-compatible remote desktops. I've integrated the rdesktop program in KRDC, so it now also is capable of connecting to Windows NT/2000/2003 Terminal Servers (which use the RDP protocol). You can see KRDC in action.
Apollon File Sharing Client
For quite a while, I've been involved in the Apollon project, which is a nice KDE-based, LimeWire-like file sharing program. I've added numerous features to the program and fixed many bugs as well as provided Dutch localizations for the program.
KAdventure
KAdventure is just a funny game I wrote in an odd mood. It is a 2D puzzle game where you have to move a great hero to the exit, hindered by water, moving blocks, deadly creatures and other stuff. The game can be easily expanded with new levels and objects. A level editor is included. Check it out on KDE-apps.org.
